عادت بعثة منتخبنا الوطني للسباحة عصر أمس السبت 21 مايو 2022 إلى أرض الوطن، عقب مشاركتها في دورة الألعاب الخليجية في الكويت. وحظيت بعثة المنتخب باستقبال مميز، بعد أن رفعوا اسم قطر عاليًا في البطولة الخليجية، بتحقيق 18 ميدالية ملونة، حيث توّج يوسف حسن بالميدالية الذهبية لسباق 200 متر (ظهر)، وعبدالعزيز العبيدلي بالفضية لسباق 200 متر (صدر)، ومحمد محمود بالبرونزية لسباق 100 حرة كما توّج عبدالعزيز العبيدلي بالميدالية الذهبية في سباق 200 متر (متنوع)، وعمر حسن بالفضية، ومحمد محمود بالميدالية الفضية لسباق 100 متر (صدر) وفازَ تميم الحمايدة وعبدالله الغامري ومحمد محمود وعمر حسن بالميدالية الفضية لسباق 4×200 متر حرة وأحرز محمد محمود الميدالية البرونزية لسباق 50 م حرة. كان في استقبال الأبطال مجلس ادارة الاتحاد القطري للسباحة والموظفين وأولياء الأمور والقنوات الاعلامية المتنوعة احتفالاً بهذا الانجاز الجديد الذي يضيف لدولة قطر عامة ولاتحاد السباحة خاصة رصيد جديد في خزينة الانجازات الخليجية لمنتخبنا الوطني .
